Within the Titleblock family, a Revision "Table" or "Schedule" can be inserted and formated for use in a project. The table is a "template" that the titleblock will use to fill in Revision information for the project based on those Revisions that exist on that sheet (the numbering can be done on a project level or a sheet level). The revision clouds are drawn and assigned a Revision from a drop down list under that objects "Element Properties." This drop down list is generated from the project revision settings that can be found by going to the "Settings" menu --->Revions. From here, a Revision can be marked as "issued" at which point the Revision cannot be edited (except by unmarking it as "issued."). The visibility of the revision can also be changed, project wide, to only show the Revision tag (the delta and #), the Cloud and the Tag, or "none" which turns off the visibility of the revision entirely. This, however, does not affect the visibility of the revision in the Titlblock. Therefore, once a Revision has been set to "issued," and the next revions comes, the revions cloud for the previous revision can be turned off across the entire poject. Alos, revions clouds and tags can be hidden manually in a view, just like any other element. ____________________ |  | | |

Another Interesting thing to note is how you can use revisions to track changes, even if these changes aren't going to be issue as an "addendum" (in other words, you are re-issuing the whole construction document set).
First, you need to set your project browser to filter by Revision. Essentially, you can set it to group sheets that have been "changed" and sheets that haven't.
Then, all you need to do is modify your titleblock family>Revision Schedule, and hide thall of the columns but one. I usually leave the date column visible, since it will require that one column be visible.
Now, go back to your project and modify the Project Revision settings, and just make sure the date field is blank, that way nothing will show up in your titleblock. Also, make sure the visibility of the clouds and tags for the Revision # you are using is turned off.
Doing this will allow you to cloud things, without having to delete the Revision schedule from your sheet family. This will help track the changes you have made, and also allow you the capacity to easily turn everything on, if it ends up being decided to issue everything as an addendum (now you don't have to go back and remember what you changed...).

Below is a list of things to be aware of when browsing through the Revitinfo.com Forum:
1) As a registered user at Revitinfo, you automatically are signed up to recieve emails any time a new post or reply to existing post is made. You can change this setting while logged in under your User Profile by clicking on your user name at the top right of any page, next to the Date (or by clicking on the My Profile Button on any Forum Page). Once you get here, click on the "Edit Profile" link below your Quick Profile Information. Finally, select "Manage Profile" and scroll down the the very bottom to change your forum email subscription Settings.
2) Each Entry must have an assigned Category and EntryType. Not all categories have subcategories, but if the category you pick has subcategories, please pick the most appropriate for your entry.
3) Only registered, logged-in users have the privledges to create posts, reply to posts, and view attachments of posts. Registration is free, and like any other forum, is our way of increasing forum functionality and security.
4) As a registered user, you will also have the ability to subscribe to threads individually, rate them, and view a list of your posts. You can also edit posts that you have made. Also, as a registered user at Revitinfo, you automatically are signed up to recieve emails any time a new post or reply to existing post is made. You can change this setting while logged in uder your User Profile by clicking on your user name at the top right of any page, next to the Date. Once you get here, click on the "Edit Profile" button below your Quick Profile Information. Finally, select "Manage Profile to change your profile Settings.
5) Soon, there will be a way for users to request other categories/SubCategories via a request form. Currently, for our system to work the way it has been designed, the category and subcategories as well as EntryTypes must remain a standard for all users of the site, in order to make searching/browsing information faster and easier.
